Traveling time

I have kept a lookout for the travelling time between Woodlands Int and Bukit Panjang Rd Blk 223/270 recently onboard 963. Here's a sample of my travel log. Bus is a 3-door SG6381Z.

16:48 Marsiling MRT
+90 secs traffic light
16:50 bef BKE
16:58 Blk 223

Do let me know/keep me updated on the travelling times for certain routes (if u have any other versions of such travelling times). Appreciate alot!

Also I did a time check for Blk 223 twds Blk 183, using LRT tracks takes 10 mins compared to using 187/190 going straight along Bukit Panjang Rd full stretch taking only 10 mins. So you are definitely right on this one. I will continue to make adjustments where necessary.

At the same time I will also be testing out various travel options along the EWL so as to get a better idea of alternative routes.

Ideas

Expressway pages to have an illustration of the expressway with one straight line, indicating the exits and adding a simple compass.

Pinned notes

• - Unless the only services that served between 2 MRT/LRT station operates on selected timing, than that should only be included, with remarks on the operating hours.

• strongly encourage to list those route without Express/Premium Service as a FIRST option, followed by those full-day Express/Premium Service which offer an even faster travel alternative than the first option.

• limit the duration of walk transfer, as we know Singapore is too hot and humid for walking long hours, to about 5 mins walk per transfer. As a rough gauge, the distance covered by 5 mins is roughly 400m. Do also consider the route taken should be barrier-free (for the disabled users)

• The suggested route assumed that there is no train disruption on the rest of the MRT network.
• The list of bus service plying between the bus stops are listed accordingly by their similar travelling time and not by the origin-destination pair.
