Chapter 4 - CREATION OF ARTICLE(S)

Interpretation

1. In this Chapter, unless the context otherwise requires —

“article(s)”, refers to any page(s), including but not limited to Template(s) and File(s);
“creator” refers to the user who create the article;
“editor(s)” refers to the user who edits sgWiki;
“individual” refers to any living person, regardless of nationality.
“information” refers to any text or picture which was contained inside the page.
“redundant page” refers to any page which contain information which does not produce any significant meaning related to Singapore.
“website” refers to any external link outside sgWiki.

Exemption

2. Any page(s), related to User, User Talk or User Sandbox created does not require to comply with all the rules except stated in paragraphs (6) and (7).
3. Any page(s), related to Template created does not require to comply the rules stated in paragraph (5).
4. Any article(s) which had been requested to be deleted by the creator within 12 hours at the time the article(s) was created, was exempted from the rule stated in paragraph (5).

Rules

5. Before creating a page, editor(s) must ensure that any information inside the page must produce significant meaning related to Singapore. Any editor(s) who, at a time of creating a redundant page with the exemption listed under paragraphs (2), (3) and (4), has committed this offence. First time offenders shall receive a Warning Point. Second time offenders shall receive a Warning Point or a temporary ban of no longer than 7 days or both. Third and Repeated time offenders shall receive a Warning Point and a temporary ban of no longer than 30 days.
6. sgWiki is not a free advertisement platform. Editor(s) must ensure that the page created must not contain advertisement which promote any website. Any editor(s) who, at a time of creating a page which contain advertisement, has committed this offence and shall receive an indefinite ban.
7. sgWiki is not a platform to harass, discriminate, bully, or defame any individual. Editor(s) must ensure that the page created must not contain any information which harass, discriminate, bully or defame any individual. Any editor(s) who, at a time of creating any page with the purpose to harass, discriminate, bully, or defame any individual, has committed this offence.
(a) First time offender(s) who create a page with the purpose to harass or bully shall receive a Warning Point and a temporary ban of not less than 30 days. Second and Repeated time offenders shall receive a Warning Point and a temporary ban of not less than 60 days or an indefinite ban.
(b) First time offender(s) who create a page with the purpose to defame any individual shall receive a Warning Point or a temporary ban of no longer than 7 days or both. Second and Repeated time offenders shall receive a Warning Point or a temporary ban of no longer than 30 days or both.
(c) First time offender(s) who create a page with the purpose to discriminate any individual shall receive a Warning Point or a temporary ban of no longer than 15 days or both. Second and Repeated time offenders shall receive a Warning Point or a temporary ban of no longer than 60 days or both.
8. sgWiki is not a platform to spam Template. Editor(s) must ensure that all template created must have significant aids in synchronising information across multiple page(s). Editor(s) who at a time of creating any template for fun or for usage in a single page and no other page(s) that could use, has committed this offense. Offenders shall receive a Warning Point or a temporary ban of no longer than 5 days.
9. Any page(s) created by the offender(s) may be deleted without prior notice.
