Christian
From SgWiki
Unless a Christian has cultivated a genial sweet positive personality with an obvious attractive face (all smiles most of the times!), and acquired excellent (A+ plus) inter-personality skills (like the SIA or hotel reception girls for guests) generally everyone of us as Christians are at first impression not friendly or approachable ppl!

[edit] Why we are like durians
Christian or Christians are just like durians. We can hate them and love them all at the same time! They all smells like rotten death and vibrant living all at once! If someone throw the durian leftovers downstairs for some cleaners to pick the next day, it will smell like rotten dead stuffs. That's how you feels about it, isn't it? One man's meat is another poison!
However, when your friends asked you to join in for the durian party,it really smell bad but taste yummy! That's why it both Love and hate
- So what exactly constitute a Christian? A believer-lol but more to it-lah! He or she or even a shim can be a Christian when the person accepted Jesus as Savior and Guru (Master or Lord) for living know-how (that's a fine technic, U_know?). That is indeed a strange alien! However, it's altogether another different issue with repentance for a wrongly sex-oriented deviate. Homosexuals are not natural but cultivated! This is not the natural order for people at the bottomline conclusion! All of us who repent can be saved there is no discrimination here.
- Right well, you're right, an alien of a sort of different world <both living and death> that's is why they always seem to be so polite and kind when you never expect to do anything for you and yet they help you!
- They treated you like humans (with dignity) not some unwanted criminals or animals or beggars ! BTW who need their help anyway(!), so you said, maybe we always will need when we are here on this crowded earth! Just your turn may not come by yet!
- be careful, I am Alien too. a local durian..hehehe!165.21.154.108 09:52, 29 Apr 2005 (SGT)

[edit] Further Notes on Christian
The term "Christian" is variously defined among different Christian groups. Some people, including many born-again Christians, believe that a Christian is one who believes and follows Jesus and repents of their sins, though the proof of this is found in agreeing to the doctrines set forth in the Bible, and doing what it says. Still others, such as Eastern Orthodox, Roman Catholics and many Protestants, believe that a Christian is one who is a member of the church, which one enters through the sacrament of baptism. In this way, infants who are baptized may also be considered Christians. Certain denominations, such as the Churches of Christ and Independent Christian Churches teach that adult baptism is the transition from non-Christian to Christian, and so define a Christian as one who has been baptized as a repenting adult.
The first known usage of this term can be found in the New Testament of the Bible, in [[2]]: "the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch." The term was thus first used to denote those known or perceived to be [disciples]] of Christ. Similarly, in the two other New Testament uses of the word (Acts:26:28,31) and (|1 Peter 4:16, 31), it refers to the public identity of those who follow Jesus.
As a noun, Christian (Gr. Χριστιανός ) and variant (Χρηστιανός), [Strong's G5546] is an appellation deriving from the name "Christ" and is derived from the Greek noun Christos which means "anointed one," itself a translation of the Hebrew word Moshiach or "Messiah". Many people associate the word "Christ" exclusively with Jesus. However, as this identification is not accepted within Judaism, in Hebrew Christians are called "Nazarenes" (Notzri), because Jesus was from the province of Nazareth.
For many, "Christian" also means to be a member or adherent of one of the organized religious denominations of Christianity. As an adjective, the term may also describe anything associated with Christianity.
[edit] "Do you think that in such a short time you can persuade me to be a Christian?"
- A QUESTION BY A KING..who was almost persuaded by Paul the Apostle, but in the final outcome, he goes against those Christians and persecuted them..one can usually see the true or genuine Christians by their heart belief, those with head or rationale believers usually get to be tested by time and when problems, difficulties or even persecutions come along, they usually fall away by the wayside..
