The services along the East West Line from Clementi to Jurong East was unavailable from 4 September 2010 till 5 September 2010, to facilitate the construction of the connector track as part of the Jurong East Modification Project, Joo Koon bound trains terminated at platform A and utilised the nearby crossover to continue to Joo Koon. Two slow shuttle trains also deployed between this station to Jurong East on both platform A and B, as this stretch have no crossover, these two trains ran slowly as it passed a wrong signal; reverse mode were used to run on a wrong direction on the wrong track.
