Bengal tigers are fully grown at two to three years of age and live for up to 15 years in the wild. Males weigh 200-230 kilograms and are up to three metres in length.
The females are 130-70 kilograms and up to 2.5 metres long.

The joke version of this answer would be that you'd get torn to shreds, but a zoologist will tell you that you'd get a liger.
Bred by mating a male lion with a female tiger, ligers were once thought to be mythical creatures because of their immense size - they are larger than both parents.
But ligers are not the product of some 20th-century science experiment.
In fact, one legend has it that ligers originated in the jungles of ancient Singapore, where the giant cats were said to roam.
This is, however, unlikely as there are no records of lions having ever lived on the island.
Still, ligers are very real.
One of the earliest known documentation of ligers dates back to the early 19th century. The enormous animals were depicted in paintings and engravings.
Today, Dr Bhagavan Antle is one of the few liger owners in the world.
The director of The Institute of Greatly Endangered and Rare Species (Tigers) in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, has four ligers which he has taken on media tours.
'We had such a big splash of exposure,' DrAntle, who has shown the beasts on high-profile TV talk shows like Oprah and The Tonight Show With Jay Leno, told Outside magazine.
'We saw the valuable public appeal. It was like opening a chapter of myth that had come to life.'
DrAntle's ligers were born to a mother tiger called Ayla and a lion called Arthur in 2002.
Named Hercules, Zeus, Vulcan, and Sinbad, the four brothers take turns going on display at Jungle Island, a theme park in Miami, which has several animal exhibits and shows.
Not to be confused with tigons (born of a male tiger and female lion), ligers typically weigh over 400kg - about twice the average weight of an adult tiger or lion - and can devour over 20kg of meat in one meal.
But don't expect to see ligers anywhere in the wild.

'It would result in diminished fitness of the offspring,' Dr Ronald Tilson, director of conservation at the Minnesota Zoo, explained to National Geographic.
But somehow, ligers seem to have dodged this rule of evolution as they posses the best traits of their parents.
'Those qualities manifest themselves in the fact that they like to be in the water (a tiger trait) and are very social (a lion trait),' said conservationist Tippi Hendren, who runs the Shambala animal sanctuary in California.
Ligers also inherit the vocabularies of their parents - they can roar like lions and chuff like tigers.
Because of their rarity, ligers are usually the biggest draw for most of the animal sanctuaries where they are found.

- Are you a Tiger? In the Chinese Horoscope, a Tiger is courageous, determined, quick-witted. The Tiger is restless, rebellious and loves challenges and willing to take risks. A Tiger is blunt and hates hypocrisy which often offends. However the tiger is also impulsive and attention seeking. Fortunately, the Tiger is often lucky in most enterprises and in generous with his rewards.

- Tigers in human culture and art: Humans have long feared the tiger. In cultures everywhere, the tiger symbolised the destructive force, but sometimes a protective one. Taoists believed tigers control yin or evil (while the dragon controlled yang or good); while Buddhists believe the tiger represents yang. The Hindu god Shiva, when adopting the destructive persona wears a tiger skin and rides a tiger. The Chinese believe the stripes on the tiger's forehead form the word "King". Tigers signify vigour, health and strength. Some Chinese believed tigers were powerful supernatural messengers between the human and spirit world, and tiger images were placed in tombs to ward off evil spirits. In many Asian cultures, tigers punished wrong doers; Thai and Malaysian aborigines—those who violated tribal laws, Muslims in Sumatra—sinners. In Southeast Asia it was widely believed that shamans and magicians could turn themselves into tigers. The tiger is still used as a powerful symbol, especially in Asia to represent sporting teams and used in company logos (e.g. beer, petrol). Sadly, we have not translated this fear into respect to preserve this magnificent creature.

Politics is not exactly my personal cup of tea, I prefer coffee. it is not strong but more everlasting when eventually one enter into the kingdom of peace. However, those who enter it<politics> are usually in the right wing Politics, and usually by invitation to the Party. Left wingers do not fly well in Singapore and they usually fall by their numbers no matter how well articulate they were on the Public stand and whatever issues they raised. To even enter the arena one has to have some means and the courage to fight it out to the end. I admire some politicians who could stick and be steadfast in their public service and calling. It is no small matter to discuss this topic but I must warn those who are faint hearted not to ever challenge the Lion in the arena of death. Even to have a chance to fight one has to be a willing tiger ready to be slaughtered on the altar of public good. Fear is not necessary good, but it keep the tame goose and other wild life away. Only the daring donkeys tried and are eaten up!
One can apply for any jobs in Singapore, and the recruitment office welcome all, and if yours is a degree , a job is always waiting for you. Politics is a calling, not a job. It is a service to your people and Country.
The late J.F.Kenndy said it well; "think not what you can get, but what you can give to your Country!"
- If you are just courageous, you don't qualify, you will need to be well educated and articulate, know what wisdom is, for the running of public offices. Most Singaporeans even when adequately qualified, choose not to. Common sense forbids! But what Singapore need is not money or more money, but a good opposition to parley with the dominant one party system, and I think it is time for people to step into the arena in the next election to help and consolidate the effort of those who dared and had much to lose.

The movie was a mythical effect upon audience all over Asia and among a majority of young Chinese in the west dispersion. What was the reason of the success? There are three factors as seen among movie crtics on this picture:

Saya betul-betul mengabaikan pelajaran bahasa Malaysia kerana menganggapnya tidak menguntungkan saya untuk meneruskan pendidikan di luar negeri dan juga sebagai tindak balas terhadap diskriminasi yang dilakukan oleh kerajaan terhadap sekolah Cina dan pelajar yang berketurunan bukan Melayu.
Apakah yang sebenarnya mengubah sikap saya daripada rasa dingin kepada rasa berahi akan bahasa Malaysia?
Perubahan sikap saya berkaitan dengan penglibatan saya dalam kegiatan persatuan pelajar di kampus univerisiti di Britain. Yang ironisnya saya banyak mengenal sejarah politik Malaysia bukannya di tanah air diri sendiri melainkan di negara penjajah Inggeris.
Tatkala menuntut di sana, saya bertemu dengan pejuang-pejuang politik kiri bukan Melayu dalam tahun 50-an dan 60-an di Malaya, termasuk Singapura, dan mendapati mereka tekun mempelajari bahasa Melayu pada zaman itu.
Kebanyakan aktivis politik bukan Melayu pada masa itu terdiri daripada golongan pekerja dan mereka sudi mempelajari bahasa Melayu dalam kelas yang diadakan pada sebelah malam. Pelajar-pelajar di sekolah-sekolah Cina juga rela dan mahu diajarakan bahasa Melayu. Malah tahanan-tahanan politik pun tidak ketinggalan: mereka mempelajarinya dalam kem tahanan.
Aktivis-aktivis politik kaum Cina gemar mempelajari bahasa Melayu kerana hendak menjalin hubungan yang erat dengan kaum Melayu dan kaum India. Pada zaman itu, pejuang-pejuang politik kiri berusaha keras menyatupadukan rakyat semua bangsa dalam perjuangan menentang penjajah Inggeris. Mereka bercita-cita mewujudkan sebuah negara berbilang etnik yang merdeka, bersatu dan demokratik. Bahasa Melayu sudah diiktiraf sebagai lingua franca atau bahasa perhubungan antara pelbagai bangsa di rantau ini.
Saya amat terpukau oleh sikap pro-aktif pejuang-pejuang lama terhadap bahasa Melayu demi memupuk perpaduan di kalangan rakyat jelata. Sementara itu, bahasa Melayu mereka juga bersedia memperjuangkannya sebagai bahasa kebangsaan.
Perjuangkan Bahasa Kebangsaan
Dalam rencana Sebutir Bintang di Langit Sejarah, Allahyarham Datuk Dr Usman Awang mengisahkan “… jasa Lim Chin Siong terhadap orang Melayu dan bahasa Melayu sangat besar dan penting. Lim Chin Siong dan rakan-rakannya yang berpendidikan di sekolah aliran Cina, Singapura telah meluluskan usul supaya bahasa Melayu dijadikan lingua franca, bahasa kebangsaan, bahasa perantaraan.
“Ketika usul itu dikemukakan terdapat banyak orang Melayu sendiri, terutama golongan elit dan pegawai-pegawai kerajaan, yang masih belum percaya akan kemampuan bahasa Melayu. Malah pelajar-pelajar Melayu di universiti ketika itu pun tidak yakin bahwa bahasa Melayu itu mampu menjadi bahasa kebangsaan, bahasa ilmu.” (Dipetik daripada Comet in Our Sky: Lim Chin Siong in History.)
Said Zahari juga bercerita tentang sahabatnya Lim Chin Siong dalam bukunya Meniti Lautan Gelora–sebuah Memoir Politik. Mengikut Said Zahari, Lim Chin Siong bukanlah seorang cauvinis Cina yang politiknya cuma memperjuangkan soal bahasa, kebudayaan dan pendidikan Cina, sepertimana yang difitnah oleh musuh-musuh politiknya.
Walhal, Lim Chin Siong sering bercakap dan bertukar fikiran dengan Said Zahari mengenai perpaduan antara kaum di tanah air (Malaya termasuk Singapura). Lim Chin Siong selalu menekankan betapa pentingnya perpaduan kaum demi keharmonian dan keamanan.
Mereka sepakat bahwa konflik perkauman memang sengaja dicetuskan dan dibesar-besarkan oleh orang yang berkepentingan, seperti kaum kapitalis yang memang mahu melihat perpecahan di kalangan rakyat supaya mereka mudah menindas. Lim Chin Siong dan Said Zahari juga percaya, tidak mungkin berlaku konflik besar-besaran antara kaum, terutamanya antara orang Melayu dengan orang Cina, kalau tidak kerana campur tangan dan provokasi golongan yang berkepentingan itu.
Lim Chin Siong telah memainkan peranan besar hingga bahasa Melayu diterima menjadi bahasa kebangsaan Singapura dengan lebih 80 peratus penduduknya daripada kaum Cina, kata Samad Ismail.
Pada masa yang sama, nama Said Zahari sering disebut-sebut di kalangan orang Cina. Beliau amat dihormati oleh orang Cina kerana pandai berbahasa Cina disebabkan oleh usaha gigihnya mempelajari bahasa Cina dalam kem tahanan politik. Said Zahari adalah lambang orang Melayu yang mempelajari bahasa Cina demi perpaduan rakyat.
Mengikis Prasangka
Teladan baik yang diperlihatkan oleh pejuang-pejuang lama telah mengikis habis-habisan prasangka saya terhadap bahasa kebangsaan. Sekembali ke tanah air, dengan tidak berlengah-lengah lagi, saya lantas bersungguh-sungguh mempelajarinya secara sendirian.
Apabila ada masa lapang, saya mendekati bahasa Malaysia dengan membaca surat khabar yang mudah diperoleh. Peluang melakukan pertuturan dalam bahasa Malaysia juga saya gunakan dengan sebaik-baiknya.
Sewaktu terlibat dalam masalah yang dihadapi oleh peneroka bandar atau setinggan di sekitar Kuala Lumpur dan Selangor, saya bertemankan anggota-anggota Parti Rakyat. Dengan mereka saya menjalin hubungan supaya dapat bertutur dengan bahasa Malaysia.
Ketika mengajar di sekolah Cina di Kota Bharu, saya baru menjadi anggota Parti Rakyat. Saya selalu mengunjungi kedai Mohamed Jaffar, seorang pemimpin Parti Rakyat lama, yang terletak di Jalan Pengkalan Chepa untuk mengadakan perbualan dengannya. Mohamed Jaffar pernah beberapa kali mengundang saya ke rumahnya. Dengannya saya banyak berkesempatan membincangkan hal-ehwal politik dalam bahasa Malaysia.
Kemudian di Johor Bahru, saya bekerja sebagai pensyarah di sebuah kolej swasta. Kepada Hassan Karim, Ketua Pemuda Parti Rakyat masa itu, yang tinggal di Pontian saya minta diberi tuisyen untuk persiapan saya memduduki kertas Julai SPM Bahasa Melayu. Dengannya saya banyak belajar menulis di samping mengadakan perbincangan tentang isu-isu semasa.
