A person who is born with both sex organs - such are usually term as morons in the Singlish slang but the correct word is transsexuals. There have been many cases in society when such persons had to hide their physical abnormality from the public. However, that can be a certain amount of unhealthy consequences, such as the surprise factor when a transsexual tried to get into a bonding family marriage situation. On the other hand, there can be certain transparency in cases where the person can make a definite choice - just as any other important choice a normal person made in life.

Stanford University neurobiologist Ben Barres has a unique perspective on the gender wars in science, as he has spent time on both sides of the fence.
