- Hi people, we have lately some bad news and some good ones. I tried to justify my word with my talk. And often it has to do with my walk. Walking is an activity, which we all do, and lots!
- So,I need a pair of comfortable walking shoes as you see in this picture. People may not necessary be fitted comfortably in my shoes , and I did not expect it to happen at all. So I just have to be frank with my talk and it may offended your sensible feelings, though my views may be bordering on the radical, or they are not exactly your cup of tea, please allow me to say "Thank you for your kind attentions, but just allow me to agree to disagree !" - Have something to say? Want to share it with the world? Blogging is not only a recent and very popular fad, it's also starting to influence national politics...go to it lah!
- Compassion is a word seldom used by majority of us.We can only think in term of ourselves. Just tonite, I heard someone prayed for the suffering people in Indonesia. She is from China. She asked God to help alleviate the sufferings of those needy people. I felt hopeless too, just as many who are unable to help. So I tried to pray for others, that is the least I could do.
- We are a community and we don't live by ourselves. Nobody is fully independent of others, even though we claim to be financial independent.Somebody's problem and pains we can share, in ways of expressing our care and concern. God help us to care!
- WE all together in Singapore have a Commitment to serve in our home and our land of Southeast Asia. No more can we say the problem of Malaysia and Indonesia are 'theirs'. No more can we say Vietnam, Myanmar and Laos - all the Asean Countries are 'theirs' - we share common ties in the cross-migration of people and cross-cultures all the time and on many issues, and the bird flu, human aid factor, and piracy in the Malacca Strait etc.. all these goes to show our community is altogether inter-dependent for survival, indeed a small whole social political entity in Asia. 165.21.154.14 09:24, 3 Apr 2005 (SGT)

- A walk in the town a "walkintown" by MPs. Usually never alone! It was started by the old Prime Minister MM Lee who used to gather all the wishes and wants of his community and put down on papers, then diligently fulfills them later to show his words were followed by his actions . The political Party was known obviously as the People Action Party! So it was to be, lah!
- Not too long ago Our P.M. Lee talk frankly about the possibility of Casino i.e.:Change & Cohesion.<three Cs again>. then again in Punggol. People in Singapore are hot on this issue, just as on Easter Sunday the new Acting Finance Minister <Raymond Lim> was asked on this issue <Casino & resort> again by his Punggol audience.
Cash-SINO, and it's a Bigger issue since our old gentleman MM Lee <Mr. Lee Kuan Yew> has a word or two about it. It's 50 -50 in the house. So people, Is it going thru?
- In Canada , someone said: Oh, I know: Hypocrisy ! Remind me -- what's it called when a government relies on gambling for $2 billion in revenues and sponsors a news conference to announce a code of conduct for problem gamblers[[4]]
- I concur with the Canadian writer [[5]] NB . Here in Singapore we will have safeguards or meaning some kind of guard dogs needed to enforce it!

- I like this background picture... ... It's a beautiful picture of the universe, though it is only an artist's impression. I find it difficult to believe that the real thing was created by a mere "big bang". But if you tell me that it must have been designed by somebody, I'll find it easier to believe. I mean, just look at the sun, planets and stars... Don't tell me they're there so wonderfully made by the chance. If anything, only some super being can be so ingenious as to place the planets in our solar system in such a way that every thing rotates nicely around each other. Another cool thing about the solar system is the shooting stars and meteor showers. How fabulous they look against the night sky.
You know what's the first I will probably do when I go to heaven? I think I'll thank Him for creating the milky way so beautifully for me to appreciate. The next thing I will do is to thank Him for bothering about small me in this big universe. And to even bother about me among the 6 billion humans on earth.
- To be honest with you, I know I'll never be good enough to enter heaven. That's cause heaven is God's home and He can only allow good, make that very good, people to live with Him. Just look at Him, so holy, wise, just, upright, and so PERFECT. And because He is just, He must be fair that only perfect people can live in a perfect place (namely heaven, His home). The rest will get their punishments for their wrong doings and sins, which is separation from God on earth and separation from God after death (hell). And because He is so very just, He must punish all wrong doers regardless of their number of sins or seriousness of sins, which is still spending eternity in hell. And let's be honest, okay? Nobody is that perfect.
- But... BUT there is a way out of this terrible situation, if you can get someone to take your place in separation from God (or spiritual death) and you take his or her place in having a relationship with God, you do get a great place to rest eternally in heaven. Unfortunately, this is hard, no impossible, to come by. Even if you can find a perfect human, would he or she want to take your place in hell?
- There's one more quality of God I haven't told you, which is that God is love . He realized long time ago that all men <mankind> will be separated from Him, so He decided to let a perfect person take over our punishment, His only Son. Perhaps you've heard of Jesus? He was not only sent by God, He is God. For one thing, He lived in heaven before becoming a man. For another, only God can live a perfect life. * So God left His throne in heaven just to become a man and to take our place in punishment for our sins. He paid for all our sins by death, so that we could finally have a chance to enter heaven. He was so powerful that He rose from the dead three days after He died.
- Now, you know you have a chance go to heaven, but first, you've got to accept this gift of salvation from Jesus. Only then can He take your place in the punishment of your sins. You can do this by simply sincerely saying this prayer to God: Dear Jesus, I thank you for paying my punishment for my sins for me. I accept Your gift of salvation and believe I have a wonderful future in Your hands. * It's impossible to live a perfect life, but Jesus promises to help you, if you'll only let Him guide you. So give Him control of your life and say this prayer (and again, be sincere): Jesus, I want you to be the Lord of my life, so that I won't live a life of regrets but a life of victories won by Your strength. I trust that Your love for me will sustain me through every hardship. Amen.
- If you said the prayer mentioned, I congratulate You for entering into a relationship with God. If you did not, I urge you to rethink your decision. I committed my life to Jesus and I can assure you it is very rewarding. If you had said this type of a prayer before, you probably know how great it is to call Jesus Saviour and Lord.

She is now in Edmonton serving the Lord among the University of Alberta students (where she is doing her post-graduate degree for Computer Science ) & works as Dell to help her get thru 4 bread & butter mattters)

Just want to inform you that many pages would need heavy editing to be a lot less personal, and would like to invite you to help out.
However, since sgWiki is not like a personal homepage, I hope that you can refrain from posting irrelevant items on the pages, thanks for your contribution!

And Welcome back here too.. You have been so long away and absent .. Sgwiki originally was a pubic web page. I hope it is still reflecting Singaporeans' Opinions and a treasure trove as originally set out..
BTW if you intend to do right I will be glad to join you too, but if you want to delete 99 of personal stuffs here, there won't be any more Singaporeans' treasure trove except some opinions <NPOVs> kapok from Internet and like wholesale cut and paste from wikipedia which also come from Internet sources.
However, before U delete others' stuffs just add-to-it by writing some original and personal articles yourself to show your ability as moderator! You want to have more soldiers to follow U have to be a good leader. This also isn't like army stuffs; there are no orders to give anyone, and it's free for all! There are plenty of spaces for you to add..
