	From Sunday, 14 November 2024 to 31 October 2025, Train Services on the Bukit Panjang LRT will end an hour earlier at 22:30 every Thursday to Sunday (except Public Holidays). This is to facilitate the upgrading of the BPLRT signalling system, as well as the testing of the new and retrofitted Light Rail Vehicles (LRVs) on the BPLRT network. Please refer here for more information. From Saturday, 7 December 2024 to 10 December 2024. There will be no train service on the East–West Line between Tampines station and Tanah Merah station with Simei station being closed. This is to prepare for the opening of the new East Coast Integrated Depot (ECID) in 2026, LTA and SMRT will be undertaking a series of works to facilitate the connection of tracks from the existing East–West Line to the ECID. From Tuesday, 10 December 2024, Punggol Coast station on the North East Line will open. Please refer here for more information. On Saturday, 30 November, Services 10 , 11 , 12 , 14 , 16 / 16M , 31 , 32 , 33 , 36 , 56 , 57 , 70 , 77 , 97 , 100 , 106 , 107 , 111 , 130 , 131 , 133 , 158 , 167 , 195 , 196 , 502 , 518 , 857 , 960 / 960e & 961 will be diverted to travel on alternative routes from the First Bus to 11.45am. They will skip bus stops along their regular routes, which will include Bayfront Avenue, Beach Road, Nicoll Highway as well as those in the Civic District, Central Business District and Marina Central. Please refer to the following for more information. From Sunday, 1 December 2024, Compassvale Bus Interchange will close following the opening of Buangkok Bus Interchange. Bus Services 110 , 114 & 156 will be amended to operate from Buangkok Bus Interchange while Bus Service 374 will be amended to operate from Sengkang Interchange. On Sunday, 1 December, from the First Bus to 3.00pm, Services 10 , 11 , 12 , 14 , 16 , 30 , 36 , 31 , 32 , 33 , 48 , 57 , 70M , 77 , 80 , 97 , 100 , 106 , 107M , 111 , 121 , 130 , 131 , 133 , 145 , 158 , 186 , 195 , 196 , 400 , 401 , 502 , 518 , 857 , 961M , 970 & 980 will be similarly affected by lane/road closures with bus stops skipped along their regular routes. The affected roads include Bayfront Avenue, Beach Road, Nicoll Highway, Fort Road and Keppel Road as well as those in the Civic District, Central Business District and Marina Central. With the road closures on 1 December, Service 401 will also commence operations at a later time at 12.00pm. Service 48 will be diverted from its regular route along the ECP (towards Bedok North Depot) from the start of operations to 10.30am. From Sunday, 8 December 2024, Bus Services 84G & 84W will each call at an additional bus stop outside and opposite Blk 437B respectively. Please refer here for more information. From Sunday, 8 December 2024, Short-trip 138C will be introduced, operating from the bus stop along Mandai Lake Road, in front of the Singapore Zoo (48131) and terminating at the bus stop along Upper Thomson Road, in front of Springleaf Station Exit 2 (56099). Short-trip 138C will operate only on weekends and Public Holidays, from 2.45pm to 7.00pm. Please refer here for more information. From Sunday, 8 December 2024, two bus stops along Kim Seng Road, The Trillium (13139) and Opp Great World City (13119), will be merged and relocated permanently to Great World Stn Exit 3 (13119). From Monday, 9 December 2024, Supplementary Bus Service 298X will be introduced to provide a faster connection to the Tampines town centre and transport hub for residents in the Tampines North and west areas. Bus Service 9 serves multiple residential estates in Bedok & Tampines. It also serves the Changi Airfreight Centre which is restricted to the public. With high-demand sectors in Bedok, Simei & Tampines, short-trip services are introduced to cope with the demand.

Short-Trip Bus Service 9A operates during Weekday Evening Peak hours and supplements the high demand for Service 9 along its residential sectors in Bedok, Simei & Tampines.

Short-Trip Bus Service 9B operates during the Weekdays Morning Peak hours and supplements the high demand for workers living in Simei & Tampines, to get to the Changi Airfreight Centre.
