Bus Service 868E

!	TRAVEL ADVISORY					!
	From Sunday, 14 November 2024 to 31 October 2025, Train services on the Bukit Panjang LRT will end an hour earlier at 22:30 every Thursday to Sunday (except Public Holidays). This is to facilitate the upgrading of the BPLRT signalling system, as well as the testing of the new and retrofitted Light Rail Vehicles (LRVs) on the BPLRT network. Please refer here for more information. Train services will be extended on the on the eve of Labour Day, 30 April 2025 (Wednesday). SMRT Buses Express Service 868E is a morning peak one-way limited-stop express bus route which offers quicker links for the residential areas of Bukit Batok and Jurong East to the business districts in Downtown Core.

This route bears similarities to express bus service 188e in its local sector from Bukit Gombak to Toh Guan Rd, then plies a different route, going on express sectors of Ayer Rajah Expressway (AYE) and Keppel Rd before reaching the Central Business District.
