Bus Service Changes for the Opening of Joo Koon Bus Interchange

Introduction

The Joo Koon Bus Interchange was opened in phases from 21 November 2015. In conjunction with its opening, several bus services originating from Boon Lay Bus Interchange were re-routed to start from there, thus easing congestions at the then overcrowded Boon Lay Bus Interchange.

192 Amended to ply Jurong West St 63 and Upper Jurong Rd in both directions, skipping Jurong West St 64, Jurong West Ave 4, Pioneer Rd North and Lok Yang Way.
193 Amended to ply Pioneer Rd North, Lok Yang Way and Jln Ahmad Ibrahim in both directions, skipping Upper Jurong Road and PIE.
256 Introduced between Joo Koon Int and Boon Lay Int, replacing deleted sectors of Service 257.
257 Shortened to start from Joo Koon Int. Deleted sectors were replaced by Service 193.
3 12 December 2015
194 Extended to loop at Jln Ahmad Ibrahim and converted to full-day service, replacing deleted sectors of Service 251.
251 Amended to loop at Shipyard Road via Boon Lay Way and Pioneer Rd North. Deleted sectors were replaced by Services 194 and 253.
253 Introduced between Joo Koon Int and Benoi Rd (loop), replacing deleted sectors of Services 251, 254 and 255.
254 Shortened to start from Joo Koon Int. Deleted sectors were replaced by Services 251 and 253.
255 Shortened to start from Joo Koon Int. Deleted sectors were replaced by Services 192 and 253.
