Cross Island Line

	From Sunday, 14 November 2024 to 31 October 2025, Train Services on the Bukit Panjang LRT will end an hour earlier at 22:30 every Thursday to Sunday (except Public Holidays). This is to facilitate the upgrading of the BPLRT signalling system, as well as the testing of the new and retrofitted Light Rail Vehicles (LRVs) on the BPLRT network. Please refer here for more information. From Saturday, 7 December 2024 to 10 December 2024. There will be no train service on the East–West Line between Tampines station and Tanah Merah station with Simei station being closed. This is to prepare for the opening of the new East Coast Integrated Depot (ECID) in 2026, LTA and SMRT will be undertaking a series of works to facilitate the connection of tracks from the existing East–West Line to the ECID. From Tuesday, 10 December 2024, Punggol Coast station on the North East Line will open. Please refer here for more information. From Sunday, 8 December 2024, Bus Services 84G & 84W will each call at an additional bus stop outside and opposite Blk 437B respectively. Please refer here for more information. From Sunday, 8 December 2024, Short-trip 138C will be introduced, operating from the bus stop along Mandai Lake Road, in front of the Singapore Zoo (48131) and terminating at the bus stop along Upper Thomson Road, in front of Springleaf Station Exit 2 (56099). Short-trip 138C will operate only on weekends and Public Holidays, from 2.45pm to 7.00pm. Please refer here for more information. From Sunday, 8 December 2024, two bus stops along Kim Seng Road, The Trillium (13139) and Opp Great World City (13119), will be merged and relocated permanently to Great World Stn Exit 3 (13119). From Monday, 9 December 2024, Supplementary Bus Service 298X will be introduced to provide a faster connection to the Tampines town centre and transport hub for residents in the Tampines North and west areas. Cross Island Line (CRL) will be the eighth Mass Rapid Transit line in Singapore. The line will be 50 km long when fully constructed and is expected to begin service in 2030.
