The Kallang-Paya Lebar Expressway (KPE) is a expressway connecting East Coast Parkway (ECP) in the south and Tampines Expressway (TPE) in the north-east. It is the longest subterranean road tunnel in Southeast Asia. It is also believed to be the world's sixth longest underground road project at its time under construction. The KPE had extended its southern end to link to Ayer Rajah Expressway (AYE), with the extension being known as Marina Coastal Expressway (MCE).
