	Train services between Tanjong Rhu and Bayshore stations (Thomson–East Coast Line Stage 4) will begin on Sunday, 23 June 2024. Marsiling (NS8) is an elevated Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) station on the North–South Line.

Due to the station's proximity to neighbouring apartment blocks, a privacy screen was built along the tracks at the side of the station (southbound platform) facing these apartment blocks for privacy.
