Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Crystal Mover is an automated people mover (APM) train built by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries for the use on the Changi Airport Skytrain. These trains are mainly for airport and light rail applications, operating by Automatic Train Control (ATC), making it fully automatic and driverless.

Operation

The Crystal Mover trains are fully automated, without attendant, running on a system that are similar to the C801 and C801A trains.

Trains can be coupled for two-car operations. But in the future, between Terminal 3 Station B and Terminal 2 Station E, it will upgrade to 3-car system.

Trainset numbers

Individual cars are given a two-digit serial number by the rail operator, Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore, ranging from 01 to 16. But they upgraded 6 trains and make it to 22 trains, it will be between 17 and 22.
