Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Crystal Mover is an automated people mover (APM) train built by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries for the use on the Changi Airport Skytrain. These vehicles are mainly for airport and light rail applications, operating by Automatic Train Control (ATC), making it fully automatic and driverless.

Operation

The Crystal Mover trains are fully automated, without attendant, running on a system that are similar to the C810 trains.

Vehicles can be coupled in pairs during any time.

Features

The Crystal Mover trains have similar features to the C810 trains, but converted to a bar train having 18 seats replaced with 2 horizontal bars.

Trainset numbers

Individual cars are given a two-digit serial number by the rail operator, Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore, ranging from 01 to 16.
