!	From Sunday, 17 December 2023, due to Thomson-East Coast Line 3 Bus Rationalisation: Bus service 75 will be shortened to terminate at Bukit Merah Int from Gali Batu Ter. Bus service 121 will be amended to start from Shenton Way Ter. Bus service 162 will be shortened to loop at Sin Ming Dr from Yio Chu Kang Int and converted to full-day service. Bus service 162M will be discontinued. Bus service 167 will operate at a reduced frequency of 30-minute intervals. Bus service 859 will be amended to ply Canberra Link, skipping a part of Canberra Rd. The first bus of bus service 980 from Sembawang Int will be brought forward to depart at 5:30am on weekdays and Saturdays, and 5:45am on Sundays and public holidays while the last bus towards Sembawang Int from the bus stop opposite Novena Church (B/S 50031) will be extended till 12:30am daily. Redhill (EW18) is a Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) station on the East–West Line. This is the only MRT station in which the two platforms are not parallel to each other due to space constraint.

2004 incident[edit]

On 31 August 2004, a lady in her 40s was hit by a train after she fell on to the tracks. She suffered head injuries and was sent to the Singapore General Hospital. This incident took place just hours after another train hit another lady in her 50s earlier in the day at Bukit Batok station.^[2]^[3]

2010 incident[edit]

On 18 May 2010, eastbound train services between Outram Park and Queenstown stations were disrupted for about 45 minutes when a passenger was hit by a train at 11.35am. Close to 5,500 passengers were affected by the incident and train services resumed at about 12.20pm.
