The college was originally run as a subsidiary of the now-defunct Stansfield group, also owned by Chettiar, together with the now-defunct [[Singapore Institute of Commerce]]. The college became a private limited company in its own right after SIC was shut down in 2011.

The college was originally run as a subsidiary of the now-defunct Stansfield group, also owned by Chettiar, together with the now-defunct Singapore Institute of Commerce. The college became a private limited company in its own right after SIC was shut down in 2011.
