Roy Tan started all the "Singapore gay..." articles in Wikipedia.

He later ported all the latter articles to SgWiki, SiGNeLwiki and Wikidot. This was in reaction to the numerous deletionists in Wikipedia who would erase huge chunks of information or, indeed, complete articles on the grounds that they were not important enough for inclusion in a reference as "prestigious" as Wikipedia.

Thanks to the burgeoning of numerous websites in later years which provided subscription-free space, Tan was able to present this so-called irrelevant information to the gay community.

Tan has also uploaded videos of almost every major gay non-party event to YouTube:[1]

Pink Dot

Boo mentioned Pink Dot SG in the article:

5) Pink Dot

这是个很多人,尤其年轻人,都会关 注的活动。

在我看来,Pink Dot 强烈代表了整个社会的 逐渐开放。

保守的人都会认定,社会开放 会产生更多的混乱,是很不好的现象,其实不然。

English translation:

This is an event which a lot of people, especially youngsters, are following with interest.

In my opinion, Pink Dot strongly represents the gradual opening up of our entire society.

Conservative people will maintain that the liberalisation of society will produce more confusion and is not a good sign.

In fact, that is not true.
