== RE: SBS7557R Recent Edit ==
Hi,

Hi
Maybe we can kiv for 1/2 days? He/she may have a simplified/better way to organized it later on?

I did not see any mention of pre-am peak, am off peak etc in transitlink website.
Regards

the timetable in transitlink and SBST only split the frequency period into different timing but i did not see any ref that said 830-1659 is am off peak.

and based on this link,http://tlwebappuat.cloudapp.net/PSdetail.aspx?ty=art&Id=77#5
the peak/off peak timing are actually different based on the previous off peak timing.

*************************************************************************************
The timings during which the Off-Peak Pass (OPP) can be used are: from the start of service to 6:29am, between 9:01am and 4:59pm, and from 7:31pm on weekdays, and all-day on weekends and public holidays.

for simply sake, why dont we just remove the am off peak/pm off peak/pm peak wording? just put the operation hours (1555hr to 2200 hr for example). simple and easier to understnd. it is already messy in the remarks section.

Hi.

Have read your conversation with lemon1974.

Previously I have standardised the time periods as provided by Transitlink. Bus stops information panels used to state these under the fare table & LTA's bus route interactive map.

It wouldn't be ideal for us to indicate the exact timings as we do not have much information for most of the interlining/down-route/early trip duties. Even so, timings stated might be outdated over time as the operators may adjust their runtime/schedule.

Hence, I will propose the following to replace the current timing periods.

* Before 0630: before Weekdays morning peak.
* 0630 to 0830: during Weekdays morning peak.
* 0831 to 1159: during Weekdays morning off-peak.
* 1200 to 1659: during Weekdays afternoon.
* 1700 to 1900: during Weekdays evening peak.
* 1901 to 2059: during Weekdays evening off-peak.
* After 2100: during Weekdays night.

Would it be more appropriate for us to follow the bus lane timings for the morning & evening peak hour periods? 0730 to 0930 & 1700 to 2000.

== Simplifying Notes Section ==

Hi Themystery,

In line with your recent edits to re organise the notes section in the bus services, may I propose another way of expressing the notes section?

Service 158 edit:

https://sgwiki.com/index.php?title=Services_141_-_160&diff=488154&oldid=488153

Service 159 edit:

https://sgwiki.com/index.php?title=Services_141_-_160&diff=488153&oldid=488139

I have made these changes previously in Service 854's page and was wondering if it could be standardised across all operators.

Service 854 edit:

Thank you. If you do have any other ways to improve this idea, please do let me know. Thanks!

No vandalism was intended. If in any way you feel like I had made inappropriate changes, please do inform me and we can see if the situation can be improved.

Regards,
