Hong Ching Chiew, better known as Wang Lei (simplified Chinese: 王雷), is a Singaporean getai compere and actor.

Career

Hong is active in the getai scene, but occasionally takes on roles in local Mandarin TV and films, particularly JTeam productions. His first role was in the 2004 film The Best Bet, where he played an illegal bookmaker. His first main role was in the 2009 "hor-medy" film Where Got Ghost, where he played a soldier on reservist training. He reprised this role in The Ghosts Must Be Crazy. More recently, Hong was the "keng king" uncle in the Ah Boys To Men duology.
