Mitsubishi Heavy Industries C810A (Crystal Mover) is an automated people mover (APM) train built by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries for the use on the Sengkang LRT and Punggol LRT lines. These trains are mainly for airport and light rail applications, operating by Automatic Train Control (ATC), making it fully automatic and driverless.
This additional batch of trains will be arriving progressively by 2016, and subsequently increasing the capacity of the Sengkang and Punggol LRT lines by 40% by 2016.
The C810A trains are fully automated, without attendant, running on a system that are similar to the Mitsubishi Heavy Industries C810 trains.
Trains can be coupled for two-car operations during Peak Hours.
