|East West Line: There is no Train Service between Joo Koon and Gul Circle stations. Bridging Bus Services are available between Joo Koon and Gul Circle stations.
North South Line: Please expect an additional 20 minutes travelling time towards Marina South Pier due to track renewal works near Raffles Place. Trains may stop frequently or at a longer interval during peak period.
East West Line: Train services will end earlier on Fridays and Saturdays and will start later on Saturday and Sunday. Shuttle bus services are available. Certain bus service will be extended to coincide with the last shuttle bus timing.

Similar to other stations on the eastern section of the East West Line, the station's design consists of white-washed walls and a dome-shaped ceiling, with a glass roof running along the middle of the station.

Tanah Merah Modification Project
The Tanah Merah Modification Project (TMBP) was announced by Land Transport Authority (LTA) on 25 August 2014 which consists of an additional track and platform to allow trains arriving and departing towards Changi Airprot at a shorter intervals. Constructions will commence soon and is expected to be completed by 2024.
