Simpang is a planning area located in the Singapore's Central Region. It has a land area of about 5.13 km2, Simpang ranks the 43rd in terms of size. Development is on hold until Punggol is saturated.

Simpang is currently a swamp area used by the Singapore Armed Forces as a training ground since the early 1996. There are plans for it to be converted into a high-density housing estate, but so far nothing has been planned or finalised.

Simpang is made out of 1 subzone, Pulau Seletar. The planning area is bordered by Yishun to the south, Sembawang to the west and Seletar to the East.
