Johor Bahru, sometimes spelled Johore Bahru, is the capital of the State of Johore in peninsular Malaysia. It stands at the northern end of the Johor - Singapore Causeway that links Singapore to Malaysia.

Colloquially known both to Singaporeans and to Malaysians as JB, it is a popular place for Singaporeans to visit or shop for items that are impossible or more expensive in Singapore itself.

Transportation from Singapore[edit]

Land transport from Singapore to Johor Bahru is possible through Woodlands checkpoint via Johor - Singapore Causeway or through Tuas checkpoint via Malaysia - Singapore Second Link.

  • Causeway Link Bus Services: CW1, CW2, CW5.
  • KTM Shuttle Train: Woodlands Train Checkpoint - JB Sentral
  • Shuttle Taxi: Woodlands Temporary Bus Interchange - JB Checkpoint (Loop)
