Johor Bahru, sometimes spelled Johore Bahru, is the capital of the State of Johore in peninsular Malaysia. It stands at the northern end of the Johor - Singapore Causeway that links Singapore to Malaysia.

Colloquially known both to Singaporeans and to Malaysians as JB, it is a popular place for Singaporeans to visit or shop for items that are impossible or more expensive in Singapore itself.
