!	From Sunday, 14 November 2024 to 31 October 2025, Train services on the Bukit Panjang LRT will end an hour earlier at 22:30 every Thursday to Sunday (except Public Holidays). This is to facilitate the upgrading of the BPLRT signalling system, as well as the testing of the new and retrofitted Light Rail Vehicles (LRVs) on the BPLRT network. From Monday, 24 March 2025, supplementary bus service 979X will be introduced to provide a faster connection for residents in Yew Tee Village to and from Bukit Panjang MRT / Bus Interchange. Riviera (CP3/PE4) is a Light Rail Transit (LRT) station on the Punggol LRT and a future Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) station on the Cross Island Line^[1].

2020 track cracks[edit]

On 9 January 2020, at around 2.15pm, a crack was spotted on one of the elevated concrete slabs — known as plinths — on which the train run on. The “isolated” crack was located between Riviera and Coral Edge stations. One platform has been closed early from 9pm to 4am for urgent maintenance, while operations continue as trains run on other platforms.^[2]
