Bus Service 167 is a trunk route which links Sembawang and Chong Pang to places in the city centre, including Orchard, Dhoby Ghaut, and the Central Buisness District. It also serves the Bukit Merah area. This route contains long sectors along Sembawang, Upper Thomson, and Thomson Road.
On 17 November 2023, LTA announced that this service would be discontinued as part of the Thomson-East Coast Line Bus Rationalisation on 10 December 2023. However, due to the objections of many commuters, LTA reversed its decision to withdraw this service, instead reducing it to a 30-minute frequency.
