Mitsubishi Heavy Industries C810 (Crystal Mover) is an automated people mover (APM) train built by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries for the use on the Sengkang LRT and Punggol LRT lines. These trains are mainly for airport and light rail applications, operating by Automatic Train Control (ATC), making it fully automatic and driverless.
16 of the 41 existing trains will be undergoing modification for two-car vehicle operation to meet the future demand for the Sengkang and Punggol LRT lines.
Fleet
Operation
The C810 trains are fully automated, without attendant, running on a system.
Features
The C810 trains have similar features to the C801 trains, but with a more futuristic design (as required by the Land Transport Authority) to complement the futuristic new towns of Sengkang and Punggol.
Trainset numbers
Individual cars are given a two-digit serial number by the rail operator, SBS Transit, ranging from 01 to 41.
