One Singapore is the theme song for the National Day Parade held in 2013.
Criticism
When first released, the song was widely lambasted for sounding unprofessional and childish. Detractors pointed to the mid-tempo beat and overtly-simple lyrics which lacked meaning, and compared it to the virally lambasted song Friday by Rebecca Black.
