One Singapore is the theme song for the National Day Parade [[[NDP 2013|held in]] 2013.

Criticism

When first released, the song was widely lambasted for sounding unprofessional and childish. Detractors pointed to the mid-tempo beat and overtly-simple lyrics which lacked meaning, and compared it to the virally lambasted song Friday (Black, 2008).
