David Bala (d. 29 August 2014) was a Singaporean Tamil actor.
Career
Bala is probably best known for his roles as Muthu, a bumbling security guard in the 2007 film Just Follow Law, and the longwinded Encik Muthu (unrelated to the security guard) in The Ghosts Must Be Crazy. The catchphrase 'You die! I die! Everybody die!' from the latter role became a meme. He was also a veteran actor in Tamil productions, having starred in many Vasantham drama series. His command of the Malay language also got him a role in one Malay television series.
Bala died on 29 August 2014 from heart disease. Prior to his death, he was a security guard at Republic Polytechnic, mirroring his best known role in Just Follow Law.
