Long queues and frustrated passengers were seen at Changi Airport after a global tech glitch on 19 July 2024 affected flights, banking and company operations in countries including Singapore, the United States, the United Kingdom, India and Australia.

Changi Airport’s service personnel also gave comfort food to the distressed.

Investigation[edit]

A bug in Crowdstrike’s software update caused major delays in Changi Airport.
