Portsdown Avenue

Portsdown Avenue is a road linking Ayer Rajah Expressway and Queensway. Forming part of the traffic enhancement scheme of one-north, a road junction known as Portsdown Avenue Diamond Interchange was developed to link the newly constructed Mediapolis Flyover to Ayer Rajah Expressway (AYE) heading towards the city. Instead of plying through the minor roads within the estates, this new traffic scheme grants the vehicles a direct access to AYE and reduces the travelling time by up to 30%. JTC Corporation (JTC) has constructed a new flyover at the Mediapolis precinct in one-north. The flyover, which will be opened on 12 May 2019, 12.30am, connects Portsdown Avenue and the Ayer Rajah Expressway (AYE). Residents living in the Queenstown and Tanglin Halt area will now have a direct connection to the AYE. Previously, they had to pass through the heavily used Queensway/Jalan Bukit Merah/Alexandra Road junction to reach the AYE. Similarly, their neighbours living on the opposite side of the AYE, such as residents of Normanton Park, will now have a direct route to Queensway, instead of having to make a long detour to get to the opposite direction of the AYE and travelling all the way to Alexandra Road before connecting back to Queensway.

Previously, service 147e used to ply Portsdown Avenue before the withdrawal in 2020. The road was opened on 13 August 2005.

Portsdown Road

Portsdown Road is a road from North Buona Vista Road and ends at the DEAD END, at former Ayer Rajah Camp. Portsdown Road is also where MediaCorp Campus and Infinite Studios is located.

Stars Avenue

Stars Avenue is a road between Portsdown Road and Ayer Rajah Avenue, at former Ayer Rajah Camp. Portsdown Road is also where MediaCorp Campus and Mediapolis is located.
