About Me:

Welcome <insert your name here> to my profile page. Well, I like motor vehicles (anything with a steering wheel will do), and driving games/simulators too, as well as modding games. Continue reading to get a more general idea about me.

Favorite Buses

SBS Transit:

Single deck:

  1. Volvo B10M - Good chassis, good engine, good gearbox (esp ZF), good bodyworks. Anything else I miss?
  2. Volvo B10BLE - Smooth engine and gearbox (SBS1688K), comfortable seats (CNG).
  3. Volvo B7RLE - Last row of seats is just awesome!
  4. Mercedes-Benz Citaro - Classy interior and nice engine.

Double deck:

  1. Volvo B10TL VSO - Comfortable seats. Love the engine sound too.
  2. Dennis Trident - Powerful and HK style.
  3. Volvo B9TL - CDGE bodywork has good performance, while Wright bodywork is quiet and comfortable.

SMRT Buses:

Rigids:

  1. Mercedes-Benz O405 - Good old classic.
  2. Mercedes-Benz Citaro - Same reason as SBS Transit Citaros.
  3. Mercedes-Benz OC500LE - Powerful, smooth and comfortable.
  4. DAF SB220LT - Another good old classic.
  5. MAN NL323F (A22) - Love the power and whistling of the twin stage turbocharging.

Articulated:

  1. Mercedes-Benz O405G - Bendy buses are a great fun to ride in.
  2. MAN NG363F (A24) - Smooth and comfortable, though trailer part not as 'bouncy' as the O405Gs.

Double deck:

  1. Alexander Dennis Enviro 500 - Was a bus on my wish list that came true. A great double deck bus.

Buses That I Dislike

SBS Transit:

  1. Scania K230UB - Those with loud radiator and poorly maintained ones, don't really like the interior color and the bodywork as it makes the bus feel very cheap. But K230UBs with other bodywork (such as SC Auto owned by private operators are quite nice though).

SMRT Buses:

  1. Badly Maintained Buses - Be it any SMRT Buses. Any badly maintained SMRT buses are crap compared to well-maintained ones.

Buses to take

  1. SBS2888T - Training bus for now.
  2. SMB1H - Training bus for now.
  3. SMB138Y - Unknown status, hopefully return to service soon.

Bus wishlist

  1. Volvo B5RLE Hybrid (Volgren) to start trial with SBS Transit soon
  2. Volvo B9L - SBS Transit
  3. Mercedes-Benz Citaro G - SMRT Buses
