It is located in Pasir Ris, offering two-year pre-university courses leading to the GCE Advanced Level examinations. Anderson Junior College has been affirmed as one of the leading junior colleges in Singapore for value-added academic performances.
Meridian Junior College merged with Tampines Junior College in 2019 as announced on April 20, 2017. The merged school has been renamed as Tampines Meridian Junior College, which is a combination of the two schools' names, having the "older" school's name in front. The former Tampines Junior College principal, Ms Pamela Yoong took over as the new principal for Tampines Meridian Junior College.
