A question that still sticks to my mind is the definition of walking distance by the authorities. When I looked at each sample map and measured the distance to the boundary of the 10 min circle, they defined it as 450m-600m, with 500m being the most common out of most new locality maps. | |||

If the walking instructions are too much, especially between stations, then we can continue putting the most common walking paths the form of W2T diagrams. However, where necessary, might resort to put the station locality map in the walking instructions since the nearby stations are reflected OR when barrier free access requirements are not fulfilled. Barrier free access is still needed, as per your reminder 2 years ago. Raffles Place diagram was only half useful. | |||
Irregardless of the choice we make, I will continue to make custom W2T/walking instruction maps, especially for Shenton Way's and Tanjong Rhu's part, which in turn can do away lengthy sentences into short phrases. | |||

Just to put it on record, I have no issues with the revert, which I find completely justified (as you've laid out on the false impression part), and I would've removed/changed the message as well. However, the message that Alphabetlorefan1 said "bus 858 DDs are cameo" was an erroneous one, as they are not cameos, which you've also recognized that there are downroute slots. Hence I felt there was a need to correct the user so as to prevent any misunderstandings in the future. | ||
