==Re: Enquiry for Alternate Travel==
==Re: Alternate Travel Option Wording==
Hi,
* NS11: 962 Remarks: You can take the NSLFBB due to the long walking distance to Blk 680.

The goal is to provide alternate travel information in the situation when a breakdown/disruption occurs. So I only include the alternate travel information for the same line.
>> The walking distance may be on par with Opp Admiralty Stn bus stop as one need to turn left twice to Admiralty Stn bus stop, turn left again and walk down, cross the overhead bridge and further walk to Opp Admiralty Stn, whereas the walking path to Blk 680 bus stop is straightforward & direct (turn right and walk to road, turn left again to bus stop).

Regarding whether a direct/transfer bus services to reach destination: The route propose should be one of the fastest (including waiting time for travel), with no limitation of the number of transfer. The bus service listed should exclude Express/Premium Bus service (Such as 43e, 89e) or services that operates on selected timing* (Such as 179A/181M/900A).
* NS12: 962->117/M 883/M Remarks: You can take the NSLFBB due to the long travelling journey to the station.

* - Unless the only services that served between 2 MRT/LRT station operates on selected timing, than that should only be included, with remarks on the operating hours.
>> What do you mean long travelling time? Alternatively how about 965->Darul Mosque->Overhead bridge->169/117/883 to Canberra, will it be faster?

Thanks for your contribution.

===Re: Additional Clarification===
Hi,
Hi,

Thanks for your consideration from the start to exclude those Express/Premium Service because of a wide variety reason - and that the main reason why I strongly discourage as some express service don't even operate full days, or at an longer interval, and in the event of such rail disruption (those alternative express bus would be a nightmare).
Thanks for your progress. I had updated the Schematic route for Woodlands station, by including coloured lines at the bottom of the icon for quick reference on the icons group, so that it would be more easier to reference the icon-pairing when viewing 2 images side by side.

I'm not so concern about the fare issue regarding concession etc or the marking of such service for such alternative travel information to be placed. So we can just leave it as Bus 518 as it is. However, I would strongly encourage to list those route without Express/Premium Service as a FIRST option, followed by those full-day Express/Premium Service which offer an even faster travel alternative than the first option.

The {{TEL|b=}}'s stations has been completed on estimation of how it look like, but of course the route may not be the best.

Thanks

===Addon:===
Hi,

I had made some changes to the route you had proposed as I believed such route would result in a much faster travelling time:
*Dhoby Ghaut -> Marina South Pier (Replace Bus to Bencoleen then DTL to Downtown -> NEL to Chinatown, DTL to Downtown)
*Dhoby Ghaut -> Marina Bay, NSL down (Remove alternative multi transfer bus, preserved 106 as it travelling time on par with CCL)
*Bedok -> Pasir Ris (Remove Service 17 despite it being direct, but the route & travelling time is significant longer)
*Bedok -> Other stations (Remove Service 26 as it is winding from Bedok Int to Kembangan, thus travelling time is significant longer as compared to the rest)
*Bedok -> Chinese Garden/Lakeside (Use 2/67 and transfer to DTL at Rochor/Bugis to Bukit Panjang before transfer to 180 should have significant shorter travelling time)

Please don't limit to bus only as sometime a transfer to rail network/fully rail has much time saving (but avoid using the respective alternative travel's MRT/LRT line). Do correct those changes if you found any faster alternative!

Thanks
I will update the travelling time for TEL4 asap once I timed the whole trip from Woodlands North to Bayshore and analyze first as the current Opening House could not be fully gauge (as it was sector by sector) so actual dwell time may differ.

Reply: I have read your suggestions and I can understand that. I will try explore more of those alternatives that you have stated. Thank you very much!
Thanks and Regards

===Re: Walking===
== Re: Disruption dropdown box idea ==
I had noticed that certain stations have limited bus services and stops. Some stations are of close proximitely with others, such as City Hall-Esplanade, Rochor-Jalan Besar. LTA do produced MRT map with walking duration before. Therefore, walking should also be considered, just that if the end destination of the walking is the station itself, just put the station name instead of bus stop.
Yes, is fine to do it, I not really sure what you meant by main page, perhaps you can trial first for it? The main page is not locked (I believe)

Also limit the duration of walk transfer, as we know Singapore is too hot and humid for walking long hours, to about 5 mins walk per transfer. As a rough gauge, the distance covered by 5 mins is roughly 400m.
As for the station layout map, I trying to figure out a way to translate 2D diagram to isometric view (Mathematics involved) for better clarity, so once that done I will slowly progressive roll out on most of the NSL and the eastern EWL. Didn't really have the accurate network layout for most station.
