History[edit]

Singapore Ducktours started operation in 2001, beginning with 2 Condiesel LARC-V vehicles after getting permits from Land Transport Authority (LTA) and Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA). All Condiesel LARC-V vehicles were purchased from Singapore Armed Forces who have progressively de-registered these vehicles from 2000. Singapore Ducktours had also learnt experience from London and Hong Kong, with 4 Scania L94UB (Soon Chow) buses purchased in 2003, and also had City Sightseeing licence, with colourful liveries between 2004 and 2010:

  • PA4685C: Yellow (Hippy) - had advertisements on Mypaper (2008)
  • PA4709T: Red (Hurray) - had advertisements on SingTel F1 Grand Prix (2009)

  • PA5420T: Pink (Pinkie) - had advertisements on MediaCorp Campus SuperStar (2005-06)

There is also a short-lived light blue Singapore 7 Sightseeing livery, until it was standardised into brown Singapore 7 Sightseeing from 2016.
