Loyang View Secondary School opened in 2018 as a result of the merger of Greenview Secondary School and Loyang Secondary School. The school currently sits at the site of Loyang Secondary School.
The management commitee of the school is a combination of her predecessors. Mr Lee Hak Boon and Ms Ng Bee Ling were from Loyang Secondary and Ms Tan Chor Hiang was from Greenview Secondary.
