Description[edit]
The 2023 Theft Of Private Bus Case In Tampines was a incident that involved a 12 Year Old Boy who stole a bus owned by a private operator and drove it for more than 5 hours. The incident happened at a heavy vehicle park located at the junction of Tampines Avenue 9 and Tampines Avenue 10, located in Tampines.
The Incident[edit]
On the morning of 12 April 2023, A 12 Year Old boy entered a Man NL323F bus owned by private operator A&S Transit. The boy managed to drive the bus for five hours, visiting the towns of Punggol, Pasir Ris, Tampines and Bedok.
Aftermath[edit]
The bus was reported missing and was later found abandoned along an unknown road in Bedok with scratches and chips to exterior paint of the bus. The boy was later seen with police officers at a nearby HDB Block's void deck. After checks to the bus were carried out, it was discovered that the boy had wasted a quarter of the diesel fuel avalible in the tank.

A Facebook post embedded by Mothership originally contained several pictures and a video of the damage of the bus. After the original post became popular, the content of the post was later change to a anime-related picture. The picture was quickly taken down by the original poster.
