Chapter 1 - COPYRIGHT

Interpretation

1. In this Chapter, unless the context otherwise requires —

“author”, in relation to a photograph, means the person who takes the photograph;
“editor(s)” refers to the user who edits sgWiki;
“owner” refers to the person who has exclusive rights for the materials or work(s);
“work(s)” refers to any work by other people, including (but not limited to) printed copies, electronic books, sound recordings, images, audio recordings and videos.

Exemption

2. Any work(s) obtained from a public domain and uploaded to sgWiki is not considered as copyrighted. Such works are free to use, unless the owner of the works stated otherwise.
3. Any works from education sites, for the sake of educational purposes, that are uploaded to sgWiki are not considered as copyrighted unless stated in paragraph (6).

8. All copyrighted materials will be deleted immediately if found.
