Thanks for taking your time to synchronise all of your edits. Really appreciate it.

However I have reverted all edits made for services 80 89 102 161 163 as user '962' has added several false redeployments, like full A95 fleet for 161 which is obviously not true.

I believe they want to clock the A95 mileage on 161 and redeploy those high mileage buses to the other services.

I can help reinstate all of your edits, assuming that they are true.

You may go ahead and change the deployments accordingly as well if you'd like to.

HGDEP buses parking in Sengkang West Depot

Hi SBS3720L,

23ispolo here. I have noticed recently that you picked up on HGDEP pasting red circle stickers on some of their buses recently, specifically those parking in Sengkang West Depot (SWDEP) according to you.

I would like to add on some other buses I noticed having the sticker:

SBS3053D (HGDEP 74)
SBS3694D (HGDEP 74)
SG5325T (HGDEP 147)

As you can probably tell, other Hougang Ctrl Int services (even those not from SKG-HG package) will be or are already parking in SKDEP at the moment.

Iirc SBS8675B (HGDEP SP) and SBS3704J & SBS3761T (HGDEP 153) also have the sticker, but I will confirm and update if I see those buses again anytime soon. Pardon my bad memory over certain things like such small details.

That said, let me know about any concerns you may have over this information or message, and if you are okay with me (and potentially other users) responsibly editing your user page to add on to your current compilation of HGDEP buses with the red sticker.

Hi SBS3720L,

Thanks for your prompt reply to my first message above. I just read it after finishing editing a few Scania K230UB pages.

You are right that redeployments should be expected from HGDEP. In fact, like your observations of HGDEP buses show, HGDEP is already currently redeploying buses based on their assigned packages (e.g. SKG-HG, SER-EUN).

That is why you see buses like SBS6090B, SBS6147Y & SBS6237X, which all permed SKG-HG services before 109/315, are now all on 27 (which is under SKG-HG package). Another example of a recent redeployment following packages is the swap between SBS6133L (to HG 140) & SBS6623P (to HG 112), which now places them on services belonging to their originally assigned packages (SER-EUN and SKG-HG respectively).

I believe we will see more of the red stickers, and even more redeployments happening right before our eyes in the coming weeks. Of course, with so many redeployments and transfers happening now, only time will tell what will finally go to SWDEP, and what SBST's north-east deployments will look like in the near future.

I also managed to observe some buses entering SKDEP, didn’t manage to see if they had the red sticker or not.

SG6173H (HGDEP 161)
Time : 12.25am, 22 December 2024
SG6227L (HGDEP 161)
Time : 12.33am, 22 December 2024

If the buses do not have the sticker pasted, I suspect some of them might be parking overnight temporarily. Please help to update if the information provided is incorrect. Both of the mentioned buses operated on the 2nd last bus and the last bus for 161.

Did you really observed sv27 buses parked inside SKW depot? I been there 3 times for the past 3 days (7pm n 9pm ) and waited 1hr each time. No buses spotted turning in. and can’t spot any buses inside.

And there is only 1-2 motorcycles parked inside the depot. So high chance not in use yet cos usually there should be more motorcycles parking (for the BC).

And one thing, did not see any signage (sengkang west depot) outside as well

SKDEP or SWDEP?

General inquiry here, do you have any evidence that Sengkang West is called SKDEP instead of SWDEP? I'm seeing a lot of people calling it SWDEP instead (even some staff within SBST).

Hi,

I would like to seek your opinion on the following proposed changes:

1. Launch of sgWiki Bus Spotting Page A new page will be created daily and automatically deleted a month later. For example, "Bus Spotting/1 February 2025" would be removed on 1 March 2025. This page is intended to allow editors to document bus registration numbers without the typical edit limitations, enabling infinite edits.

The primary objective is to encourage collaboration among editors and to improve the accuracy of bus deployment data in relation to their permanent services. Many users have noted that the deployment page contains inaccurate and outdated information. By using these pages, we aim to track bus operations more effectively and allocate the correct permanent services, without requiring editors to board the buses to verify duty schedules.

2. Use of Subpages for Bus Model Deployment I have received considerable feedback, mostly criticism, regarding the separation and consolidation of bus advertisements across models. Most complaints focus on advertisement changes rather than deployment accuracy, which contributes to the aforementioned inaccuracies. As such, I propose reorganising the Bus Model deployment using subpages as follows:

Example: Volvo B9TL (WEG Batch 2) will be divided into four subpages:

1. Volvo B9TL (Wright Eclipse Gemini 2) (Batch 2)/Page 1 – (Low Entry, SBS7700T – SBS7729L)
2. Volvo B9TL (Wright Eclipse Gemini 2) (Batch 2)/Page 2 – (Low Floor, SBS3000G – SBS3099Y)
3. Volvo B9TL (Wright Eclipse Gemini 2) (Batch 2)/Page 3 – (Low Floor, SBS3100B – SBS3199S)
4. Volvo B9TL (Wright Eclipse Gemini 2) (Batch 2)/Page 4 – (Low Floor, SBS3200X – SBS3238M & SBS3269Z)

A navigation bar will be added at the top and bottom of each page, linking the respective subpages. Each page will feature a single table listing up to 100 buses, organised in the following format:

Registration No/Livery | Operator/Current Deployment | Advertisement | Former Deployment

This approach seeks to balance different perspectives, and to be more mobile friendly, as I am uncertain why some users are strongly opposed to these changes.

Alternative Table Layouts:

2. Batch | Registration No/Livery | Operator/Current Deployment | Former Deployment (Merging of Batches, numerical order, maintain status quo)
