Service 190[edit]

Hi,

I appreciate how you have been updating service 190’s fleet. But I have also noticed that most of your edits are merely adding buses into the existing fleet.

If you didn’t realise, the number of extra buses have piled up for some time. To the extent where it added up to 17 extra buses. No one seemed to be eliminating them as well.

Hope you can look into this, thanks.

All the edits are based on DDU block number,info/duty sheet evidence as well as continuous KIVs by bus enthus for at least 2 months before the info are added in to prevent any wrong info. Hope this user will sincerely understand.

Thanks.

Perms (including B9TLs) on 190[edit]

Are you sure SG5172S will stick to only 190 because it has an OCBC ad? Do you see any other B9TLs perm 190 because of an OCBC ad? This is not the specific contract where OCBC ads stick to a permanent service eg. 3 OC500LEs with 15th Gen Circles ads having to strictly stick to AMDEP 167. The B9TLs of Kranji Depot are deployed everywhere. There is no evidence on paper saying SG5172S sticks to 190 just for an ad. I understand you have been a fan of Service 190, I am one too along with a few others, but don't come up with reasons out of nowhere just because it has to serve your own interests or fantasies as if you clutch onto the entire Service 190 fleet with your dear life.

Additionally, with the addition of 3-door Enviro500s, there are other buses that don't stick to 190 very often as it is. Fleet count still remains at 46. The Earth still has to move around. There are already a few B9TLs and A95s that would have been considered out of 190 because they don't do it on a very daily basis(=30 days OR 22 weekdays) during an entire month.

Have you ever heard of rotational or flexi-deployments? When certain B9TLs go here and forth between eg. 188 and 190, it's of course going to be spare. Because it's not a daily basis.

You may be angry seeing some buses on the 190 perm section being edited out, but does "190 perm" really matter in your life? Spare bus doesn't automatically mean it vanishes entirely from 190, and still has a chance. When you see your favourite buses with a fleet variety on 190 physically in real life, won't that be at least be minimally good enough for you, and satisfy you at least? You should just chill and appreciate that you are able to see the buses on 190 frequently.

Feel free to report me or the admins at whatever chat or social media platform you like, but my two cents of advice is, forget about editing, you will feel happier and more relaxed documenting rides on 190 in real life, because you like service 190, it's what you invest your happiness in.
