Meridian Secondary School
Meridian Secondary School (abbreviation: MSS) a government co-educational neighbourhood secondary school in Pasir Ris. Meridian Secondary School is a new merger school between Siglap Secondary School and Coral Secondary School in Pasir Ris, led by Principal-Designate Mrs Hilda Thong since 22 April 2016. Mrs Thong was officially appointed as Principal of Meridian Secondary since 15 December 2016. The school is situated at Coral Secondary School's campus.
The nearest MRT station is Pasir Ris.
While Siglap Secondary and Coral Secondary have served the community well, the merger brings about the opportunity to harness the best talents among its students and staff, and a blend of the best programmes both schools offer. A new name, Meridian, was selected to give the merger school a nostalgic yet distinctive identity, and the members of the school community will in turn be called Meridians.
