The National Police Cadet Corps Alumni Association (Singapore) or NPCC Alumni, is the alumni body of National Police Cadet Corps or NPCC in Singapore. The NPCC Alumni provides ex-cadets and officers of NPCC, including ex-members of National Cadet Corps (Police) (1969-1971) and Police Cadet Corps (1959-1969), with a lifelong affiliation with the Corps. It is a valuable channel for those with a passion for the Corps to come together and associate themselves and meet old pals.

Vision[edit]

The Vision for the NPCC Alumni is a dynamic and cohesive network of ex-cadets, CIs and officers who have a burning passion for the NPCC as the common bond. Each member, in his own way and according to his means, putting in his contribution, which collectively enables the Alumni to make a major impact in the NPCC and society.

Goals[edit]

The NPCC Alumni will instill greater awareness among its members and promote the following:
1. To maintain a continuous association with NPCC;
2. To network and meet new ex-NPCC friends;
3. To make contributions to NPCC and to the nation by being involved in projects to improve the effectiveness of the Corps.

Milestones[edit]

28 November 1998 to 1999 – The NPCC Alumni was being formed through the NPCC HQ's concerted effort in gathering a passionate group of former NPCC members to form the pro-tem committee. Much support was also demonstrated by the then NPCC Council, in particular, Associate Professor Yeo Jin Fei (Chairman, 10th NPCC Council) and Ag DSP Yong Khin Chong (Commandant NPCC 1996-2000) with his staff.

21 July 1999 – The NPCC Alumni was officially registered with the Registry of Societies, Singapore. (ROS Ref. No. 0162/1999)

17 March 2000 – The NPCC Alumni was officially launched on by Associate Professor Ho Peng Kee, Senior Minister of State for Law & Home Affairs.

  • Lee Chee Chiew (Superintendent of Police), awarded with the Silver Vanda Award from His Excellency, President S R Nathan on 23 Feb 2006, for his invaluable contributions to the Singapore Scout Association during his service as the Executive Director of the NCPC. He was also awarded Practitioner of the Year for Crime Prevention in 2005 [16] by The International Society of Crime Prevention Practitioners (ISCPP).
  • Koh Tong Seng (former NPCC Alumni President), a senior military civil servant, was awarded with The Public Service Medal (Pingat Bakti Masyarakat, PBM)[17], in 2005.
  • David Wong Weng Kee (former Honorary Secretary), received The Public Service Medal (Pingat Bakti Masyarakat, PBM) [18] for his contributions toward community service in 1997 and The Public Service Star (Bintang Bakti Masyarakat, BBM) [19] in 2005.
