Hi,
In respond to your friends, at that point of time, there is a mass disruptive editing from multiple account at different related page and with the same time period.
Therefore, a block/ban is issued under abusing multiple account.
With self-appoint "sgWiki big boss" revoking all administrators rights (User:Gorving), we administrator had to remove all protection and bans before all our appointment stripped off, leaving no administrator in charge.
Due to this, your friend have been unblock.
