| ==Other informations section on bus deployment pages==
| |
| Good Evening SBS3107H,
| |
|
| |
| I had done a revamp on the 'Other informations' section of the respective bus deployment page. The Expand/Collapse table for the buses in depots and the following table such as the Legend, EDS device information and the new SMRT buses livery table will be separated into different sections rather than placing the table itself as a whole. This is to facilitate easier reading of each information found within the section.
| |
|
| |
| Also, the 'Number of buses' table will be integrated with the 'Buses in depots' table. In this case, the current total number of buses based in the respective depots will be listed within the 'Buses in depots' table.
| |
|
| |
| The final layout will be:
| ==Others==
| |
| 1. I've changed 'Retired buses' to 'Deregistered buses' for those currently running buses such as the Volvo B9TL (CDGE), whereby one bus (SBS7440T) was de-registered as it was destroyed by the Ang Mo Kio Depot fire in 2010. Placing 'Retired buses' may mislead readers when the particular model wasn't in the retiring stage.
| |
|
| |
| 2. I have removed the 'Production batch' section for the MAN A95 deployments, since the MAN A95 demonstrator (SMB5888H) was brought in to SMRT for trial purposes on Service 190. There's no further news about having a production batch of the MAN A95, since SMRT had already brought in large orders of the Alexander Dennis Enviro500. Also, I have removed those unused abbrievations on the 'Legend' and the entire 'Advertisement' table for the MAN A95 since SMRT only have 1 bus in the entire fleet.
| |
|
| |
| 3. All buses of a particular model for SMRT Buses had been replaced with a description stating that all buses were refurbished under the 'Notes' part of the 'Other informations' section.
| | With regards to the Mercedes-Benz O530 Citaro (Batch 2), the reason why SBS6846M - SBS6852U was added in to the Batch 2 of SBST Citaro is because they have similar specifications and also, there are still lots more of such buses that is ongoing roll-out.
|

| | The arrival of these rego series - SBS6846M - SBS6852U were gone unnoticed when these buses were seen on the roads, as reported by others. The deployment page of the [[Mercedes-Benz O530 Citaro (Batch 2)]] wasn't updated since these buses were already registered a few days back, though the current batch of these buses which were previously rolled out has been completed.
|

In my opinion, there isn't a need for the Notes column to be under the Deployments section. As the Electronic Display System (EDS) / Seats cover / Refurbishment information has/have been shown either the Specifications table or Other information section. I do know that these legends help visitors to view such notes conveniently, but there has been a "summary" of notes under the Other information section. Therefore, my solution is to merge such information with the Specifications table, and/or the Other informations section.
