Hi SMB315C, | |||
In regards to your post about AMDEP controlled buses, I have specifically observed that despite using different bus parks, buses are interchangeable so long as it is within the same depot control. Let me give you a few examples to prove it. | |||
'''SG5984R (AMDEP 854) was spotted on service 966 (parking at WLBP) on 22 October 2019. "Before YITH was fully constructed."''' | |||
'''SG5972A (AMDEP 854) was spotted on service 966 (parking at WLDP) on 08 September 2019. "Also before YITH was fully constructed."''' | |||
These examples may be old but it proves that as long it is under the same depot control, buses are able to perform on '''various routes and duties'''. If you need more, please do feel free to contact me to assist you with my findings. | |||
----------------------------------------------------------- | |||
Regarding crossover trips on SG6079Y (Service 169), I previously marked it as a crossover because it started performing on 854 during PM peak hours starting from '''18 December 2019'''. Prior to the removal, it's last day of appearance was on 09 January 2020. To confirm that it returned to 169, I went down to Woodlands Temp Int and yes it was there back in its original place. In the slot for 854, it was replaced by a double decker bus since it was not an extra duty. | |||

I hope these pieces of information are useful in helping you understand my findings. As a person who is open to criticisms, please do feel free to correct me or any of my work should I make any mistakes. | |||
Thank you and have a nice day sir. | |||

Interlining
Hi.
I have noticed that you have added notes regarding two service 854 buses interlining to services 169 & 963 respectively.
From what I know, SMRT does not conduct any interlining between Yishun and Woodlands services since they have been under AMDEP control & parking at YTBI (854) & WLBP (963).
You also previously claimed that there was a 169 duty that crossover to 854, and removed it after few weeks.
Thanks.

Hi SMB315C,
In regards to your post about AMDEP controlled buses, I have specifically observed that despite using different bus parks, buses are interchangeable so long as it is within the same depot control. Let me give you a few examples to prove it.
SG5984R (AMDEP 854) was spotted on service 966 (parking at WLBP) on 22 October 2019. "Before YITH was fully constructed."
SG5972A (AMDEP 854) was spotted on service 966 (parking at WLDP) on 08 September 2019. "Also before YITH was fully constructed."
These examples may be old but it proves that as long it is under the same depot control, buses are able to perform on various routes and duties. If you need more, please do feel free to contact me to assist you with my findings.
Regarding crossover trips on SG6079Y (Service 169), I previously marked it as a crossover because it started performing on 854 during PM peak hours starting from 18 December 2019. Prior to the removal, it's last day of appearance was on 09 January 2020. To confirm that it returned to 169, I went down to Woodlands Temp Int and yes it was there back in its original place.
