==SG2017C==
Hi.

May I know how do we list SG2017C if it happens to be listed with other Euro V Batch 3 buses?
===Rail Wiki Expansion===

Hi Supernutorcrazy,

Is it OK to add info of train deployments (including TRNs and their sequences), acronyms legend and train fleet info (similar to what's done for buses)?<br>
Data can be obtained from here: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1PMuCeF31etWzPv_U42qMaFoHvYwDpnkSWHgjvuuTxdg/edit<br>
All data collated in the above document are based on spottings and observations from fellow enthusiasts.

I hope you will support us to make these valuable information more accessible to all. Thank you.

For example:
*If SG2017C were to be redeployed to Sv76, where SG5835M is currently permanently assigned to, or
*If SG2017C & SG5835M were to be reassigned as spare buses, or
*If SG2017C gets leased to another operator with an existing fleet of Euro V Batch 3 buses.

== Addition of Terminating variants using "T" suffix in History of Bus Services Page ==
A question that still sticks to my mind is the definition of walking distance by the authorities. When I looked at each sample map and measured the distance to the boundary of the 10 min circle, they defined  it as 450m-600m, with 500m being the most common out of most new locality maps.

Hi Supernutorcrazy,
Do we still proceed with our definition of 1 min=80m for walking?

I have noted that a user named Singapore Buses has added separate sections for this type of route variant (eg. 83T). I would like to ask if such a variant should have a separate section or should it be together with its parent service. Hoping that you are able to advise accordingly.
Thanks and Regards

Thank you.

Noted explanation. We will proceed with 1minute = 80 metres. I have also discovered that besides Google Maps, you can also use the ruler function of OneMap to help map out the easiest walking paths.

I am thinking of a concept of walking such that it can be in this format

Hi,
Total: xxx m <br>
1. Walk <br>
2. Turn <br>
3. Keep walking <br>

May I ask why was I blocked just today after I edited to add the bus stop code for Boon Lay Stn?
If the walking instructions are too much, especially between stations, then we can continue putting the most common walking paths the form of W2T diagrams. However, where necessary, might resort to put the station locality map in the walking instructions since the nearby stations are reflected OR when barrier free access requirements are not fulfilled. Barrier free access is still needed, as per your reminder 2 years ago. Raffles Place diagram was only half useful.

Thanks and regards,
Irregardless of the choice we make, I will continue to make custom W2T/walking instruction maps, especially for Shenton Way's and Tanjong Rhu's part, which in turn can do away lengthy sentences into short phrases.

Edit: Just as I was about to write a complaint on the unavailability of the Bugis - Jalan Besar walking map, I keyed in the station codes and they actually put it up recently without me saying a word. But their diagram passes through closed off areas on NSC construction...

Hi.

Hi,
I will leave the fleet size as 4 for now. As far as I know they only have 4 buses scheduled with 5 AP duties every day.

It's fine if you don't want the bus stop number reflected for Boon Lay Stn, as the bus stop is not currently in use by any other public buses. But for Shuttle 21, the alighting point at Serangoon MRT Station for Punggol to Serangoon direction is at Bus Stop S'goon Stn Exit A/Blk 413, not Serangoon Int Alighting Berth. This alighting point is reflected in the SBS Transit posters, and I've confirmed this from both April 9 and April 10 early closures. Please check your sources before editing, thanks.

I thank you for the message. Just to put it on record, I have no issues with the revert, which I find completely justified (as you've laid out on the false impression part), and I would've removed/changed the message as well. However, the message that Alphabetlorefan1 said "bus 858 DDs are cameo" was an erroneous one, as they are not cameos, which you've also recognized that there are downroute slots. Hence I felt there was a need to correct the user so as to prevent any misunderstandings in the future.

Station layout[edit]

Looks like a perfect concept! Very simple and straight to the point with just the icons in place.

Was this inspired from the elevator diagrams that appear at certain stations eg. Somerset, Chinatown? I will try and see whether I have the skill to do a replication.

How would this turn out if it were a transfer station?

Map progress /Alternative Travel Method Upgrades[edit]

In the meantime, once the TEL4 updates are done, I will be doing massive work on the locality maps after figuring out everything with the Bayfront map as the new standard that I finished up on. 1 month tearing down drafts, revisiting the colour palletes, redoing everything from scratch feels so worth it after delivering a promising result.
