In 2007, 85 primary schools with 812 students participated in the National Inter-Primary School Competition, and 82 secondary schools with 830 students took part in the National Inter-Secondary School Competition. | |||

The originate of Wushu in Singapore is not clear, but official records of wushu organisation can be trace back as early to 19 century (see Singapore Pugilistic Community).
Wushu is widely practise by Singaporean of all ages, ranging from young kids doing sports wushu to senior citizen doing tai'chi exercise in community centre/clubs.
